Cit'Hotel Avantici Gap

Great location with parking if you're doing the Route Napoleon as we were although there is no secure parking but the hotel is in a quiet residential area. The staff allowed us to park the bike right next to reception. A 20-35 min stroll in Gap centre with it's restaurants and bars. Couple of restaurant closer if you don't want the walk. The rooms were dated but clean and comfortable breakfast was good and included in our rate.

Excellent value for money. Staff were really friendly. Hotel has a nice outside terrace area for drinks and breakfast. The hotel owners have their own restaurant about 5 minutes away which looked really nice, but we really enjoyed the Pizza Restaurant just down the road. If staying in Gap again I would definitely stay here :-)

The hotel room was a good size, the bed comfortable and generally the room and bathroom clean. The breakfast was a real surprise and was very good, a very good selection and one of the best on my 4 weeks of travel.

The hotel manager went out of her way to accommodate us, even suggesting that we park our motorbikes right outside the entrance so that they would be safe. Also her dinner recommendation was superb.
